Chocolate cake, recipe from this awesome blog:) sans the mousse for icing! There is some attempt at lettering 'K' and 'S' for our initials;-D

Chocolate cup cake

Lovely recipe from Ria's blog,recipe here, but I set the temperature way higher than what the recipe called for(my bad!) so the bottom layer is a bit burnt! But the rest was awesome and it looks nice too hey! Will attempt this again with correct settings!Thanks Ria once again!

Vanilla sponge cake

Vanilla sponge cake adapted from Ria's blog here. Made just the vanilla cake and I loved it-spongy and tasty and above all there is no butter - woohoo!:)

Hope some day soon I shall try the checkerboard as well! Thanks so much Ria, am truly inspired!

Sizzling Brownie

Super excited about the new sizzler plate we purchased this weekend.Had baked some brownies on Friday night-so we put together the brownie, scoop of vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and some roasted cashew nuts!! Yummy it was!!

Yellow cake with chocolate frosting

Among the maiden attempts at baking and frosting. Recipe for the yellow cake is from 'Great Baking' by Good Homes. The chocolate frosting is store bought(Pillsbury). Not a very neat end product but am happy with the result and hope to do better next time!

This one drove me crazy..a beautiful painting and what an awesome puzzle it makes!

This is a 2000 pieces Ravensburger puzzle, 98 X 75 cms, took me around 40 hours to complete!

Loved it every bit!
